芷岩风流——周颢和他的竹刻艺术

摘要 中国是产竹大国,竹文化历史悠久,相关的艺术品亦层出不穷,在国人的精神生活中占据重要的地位。竹刻是在我国悠久深厚的竹文化传统基础上,随着明代中后期文房雅玩鉴藏之风的兴起而成熟的特种雕刻艺术,是文人艺术与民间雕刻工艺相互交融的结晶。明清竹刻工艺的发展,主要集中于江南,尤以嘉定,金陵两派为著名。嘉定竹刻是历史上递衍时间最长,规模最大的雕刻艺术流派,其以"嘉定三朱"为先导,继而涌现出吴之瑶、 Zhou Hao was not only a master of Jiading Bamboo Carving,but also a turning-point and landmark elite in the history of Chinese Bamboo Carving Art.He was highly reputed as 'second to none in two centuries since the era he lived'.He witnessed the great prosperity of Kangxi Period,Yongzheng Period and Qianlong Period of the Dynasty.This period was also golden age of Jiading Bamboo Carving,during which numerous handicrafts showed off superb craftsmanship and elegance.On the basis of fully grasping Jiading Bamboo Carving Skills,Zhou Hao vigorously developed intaglio knife skills originated by Shen Jian,Zhou Naishi and Wang Yongfang,applied painting skills for bamboo carving,and successfully blended intaglio and bas-relief in one.In this way,his artworks not only demonstrate wrinkling effect of writing brush,but also spark traditional spirit connotations of Jiading Bamboo Carving.Finally,Jiading Bamboo Carving is able to break new ground and impress people with lofty characters.
