贝雕艺术是以贝壳作为原料制作的民间工艺品。贝雕工艺构思奇特,在我国发展有着近千年的历史。但是贝雕艺术的发展如今存在很多问题,传统技艺面临失传。所以,梳理贝雕艺术的演变过程、总结其艺术特征,对目前的贝雕艺术发展有着积极的作用。

Shell carving is a folk arts which take the shell as materials.Shell carving is unique design and it has over one thousand years of history in China,but the development of shell carving art has many problems such as the technique which is almost gone now.the traditional skills will face extinction situation.To summary the artistic features of shell carving is made on the basis of generalizing history,will has a positive effect on the development of shell carving art in the future.
