国家形象宣传片多模态转喻及功能研究——以俄罗斯国家形象宣传片为例 被引量:9

摘要 转喻是比隐喻更为基础的认知机制,多模态转喻普遍存在于声音、图像、文字等各种模态中。从多模态转喻视角,以俄罗斯国家形象宣传片为例,探讨多模态语篇中转喻类型及其表征和语篇功能。研究表明:俄罗斯国家形象宣传片以空间、事件、行为域邻近性(contiguity)为主展开,主要包括三大转喻类型:空间部分代整体、次事件代复杂事件、单个实体代总体;多模态转喻语篇功能表现为各种模态符号衔接和读者心理图式连贯;声音和文字模态协作关系为非互补协作关系,声音文字和图像模态协作体现为非强化的互补关系。 Compared to metaphor,metonymy is a more fundamental cognitive mechanism existing in sound,image and text modes etc.From the perspective of multimodal metonymy,the paper takes Russian National Image Promotion Documentary as an example and explores the types of metonymy and their functions-representational function and discourse function.The study indicates that:The documentary develops based on the spatial domain,event and behavior domain contiguity and mainly involves three major types of metonymy:space part for whole,sub-event for complex event and individual for collection;The discourse function of multimodal metonymy is achieved by the cohesion of various types of semiotics in different modes as well as the coherence of schemas in people’s mind;The cooperative relationship of sound and text modes in the documentary is non-complementary relationship,while the cooperative relationship of sound,text and image modes is non-reinforced complementary relationship.
