摘要
文章指出,任何从事汉语教学的教师一定要明白"自己为什么要教汉语",同时也要让所教的学生明白"自己为什么要学汉语"。无论是汉语教师还是汉语学习者,对汉语必须要有五点基本的认识,即"汉语是目前世界上历史悠久而基本未被分化的语言""汉语有复杂的方言""记录汉语的书面符号是形、音、义融为一体的方块汉字""汉语属于非形态语言,是语用强势语言""汉语是节律性很强的语言"。文章就每一点认识进行了翔实的阐述,以期对提高汉语教学的成效有所助益。
It is suggested that first of all, every Chinese language teacher must know the answer to the question "why do I teach Chinese" and meanwhile make it clear to his/her students "why should I learn Chinese".Secondarily, both Chinese teachers and Chinese learners must bear in mind these five essential points about Chinese: Chinese is a language which has a long history but at the same time remains undivided on the whole; the dialects of Chinese are extremely complicated; the written symbol used to record Chinese is character, a combination of meaning, form, and pronunciation; Chinese is non-inflectional and pragmatically powerful; Rhythm acts an important role in its use.
