摘要
目前已有的打印监控和审计系统对打印机的管控受限于打印机品牌、类型等因素,对与终端连接的打印设备管控也存在缺失。为解决已有不足,通过对Windows打印体系结构、打印监控技术和打印页面语言的相关研究,设计了一种基于Post Script虚拟打印机的打印监控系统。系统采用分布式模式和服务器客户端主从二元结构实现了对网内打印机的集中管控。通过实现和测试,该设计能有效解决目前问题。经过长期运行,系统效果显著并受到了国家安全保密有关部门的好评。
Nowadays, the management and control of printing monitoring and auditing systems on printers is restricted by different brands and types of printers, and the monitoring on the printing devices directly connected to terminal computers is also fairly absents. To resolve these problems, and based on the study of Windows printing architecture, printing monitoring techniques and the print page description languages, the Intranet-wide printing monitoring system based on PostScript virtual printer is proposed and designed. The centralized supervising of Intranet-wide printers is realized with distributed mode and the server-client active-and-passive structure. Implementation and testing indicate that this design could effecting solve the problems of printing monitoring mentioned above.This sys- tem, after long-period running and exhibiting excellent performance, wins fairly good appreciations of from the concerned security de- partments of the state.
