The Evolution of Authority of Ideological and Political Education from the Perspective of Cultural Development

现阶段我国文化发展表现出与以往不同的状态:多元文化形态并存、后喻文化模式显著、文化传播渠道多样等。文化发展对于思想政治教育权威实践既是一种挑战,也是一种机遇。传统思想政治教育的理论权威、课程权威、学科权威以及组织权威的不断弱化,权力性权威不断式微;新文化环境下思想政治教育的权威正开始由传统权力型强制性权威向现代威信型自觉性权威转变。

China＇ s present cultural development displays new features ： coexistence of plural cultures, foregrounded post -figurative cultural mode, diverse channels of cultural dissemination. Cultural development is both a challenge and an opportunity for the practice of the authority of ideological and political education. The power - dependent authority of traditional ideological and political education continuously declines, the theoretical authority, course -related authority, discipline -related authority and organizational authority continuously weakened. Hence under the new cultural environment, the authority of ideological and political education should be transformed from being mandatory into modem prestige featuring self-initiative.
