The Implementation of “Marriage Law” in the early of New China and Mobilization and Education of Grassroots' Cadres——Study Centered on the Southwest Region

新中国成立初期,《婚姻法》在西南地区推行之初遇到了相当的困难和阻力,基层干部在宣传贯彻《婚姻法》的过程中存在着一些错误的思想和行为。在党和政府的领导下,各级政府对基层干部进行了动员和教育,西南地区逐步确立了新民主主义婚姻制度,从而促进了社会风气的转变。西南地区推行《婚姻法》工作从整体上说是成功的,提高了干部的觉悟和政策水平,为西南地区民主改革和各项建设事业的开展创造了前提。

In the early of new China,the implementation of 'Marriage Law' in the southwest region met considerable difficulties and resistance during the initial period,grassroots cadres had some wrong ideas and behaviors in the process of propaganda and implementation of 'Marriage Law'.Under the leadership of the party and the government,governments at all levels had mobilization and education to grassroots cadres and gradually established the new democratic marriage system in the southwest region which promoted the transformation of social mood.The implementation of 'Marriage Law' in the southwest region on the whole was successful,which improved the cadres' consciousness and policy levels and created the premise for the development of democratic reform and all construction causes in the southwest region.
