Research progress of measurement methods of red blood cell survival and their applications

摘要 红细胞寿命(RBCS)检测有助于了解各类型贫血及红细胞破坏的原因,更是溶血性贫血的诊断“金标准”。然而,迄今仍无一项技术手段可广泛应用于临床RBCS检测。本文在简要介绍红细胞清除机制的基础上,对^51Cr标记法、^15N-甘氨酸标记法和生物素标记法等几种常见RBCS检测方法的原理、检测步骤、临床应用及其利弊作一综述,并且重点介绍一种具有临床应用前景的RBCS检测方法——一氧化碳(C0)呼气试验。 The measurement of red blood cell survival (RBCS)ean help to understand the causes of various anemia and red blood cell breakdown, even more, it is the " gold standard" for the diagnosis of hemolytic anemia. However, so far, there is no appropriate method can be widely used in clinical for RBCS measurement. Here, we brief describ the mechanisms of red blood cells removing firstly, summarize the theory, detection steps, clinical applications, advantages and disadvantages of several measurement methods, such as ^51Cr label,^15N-glycine label and biotin label, etc.. Then we focus on carbon monoxide (CO) breath test, a new method of RBCS measurement which had a broad scope in future clinical application.
