The results show the following:( 1) There is a positively significant correlation between their interpersonal needs, social anxiety and online deviant behavior;( 2) their interpersonal needs have a significant direct effect on their online deviant behavior; and( 3) their interpersonal needs have a significant indirect effect on their online deviant behavior through the agency of social anxiety. The study concludes that college students’ social anxiety partially mediates between their interpersonal needs and their online deviant behavior.
