终南山隐士文化初探

终南山地理环境优美,是我国古代隐士的天堂,其形成的隐士文化博大精深,源远流长,影响深远。终南山隐士归隐原因包含了避世求道、专心致学、寻医问药、急流勇退、终南捷径等方面。终南山隐士归隐则可著书立说,惠泽后世;或弘道扬法,开宗立道;出仕则可辅佐君王、匡扶天下,均对后世产生了极大的影响。围绕这些出现的终南山隐士及形成的隐士文化更是中国隐士文化的代表,在国内外产生了深远的影响,时至今日,这种现象和影响也还在继续。

Zhongnan Mountain was a paradise for ancient Chinese hermits due to its profound and far-reaching hermit culture of long standing and its magnificent geographical environment. Their seclusion in Zhongnan Mountain could be concluded as the following unique personality characteristics： being pessimistic and withdrawn from society,being committed to learning and research,consulting healthcare and medicine,getting retired at the height of the official career and being a shortcut to high office. The hermits in Zhongnan Mountain,regardless of being officials or living in seclusion,all had exerted greater influence,some assisted in the state affairs,some wrote books to expound doctrines for the sake of later generations; others upheld just and justice doctrine. Based on these facts,the hermits in Zhongnan Mountain and its culture fully represented the Chinese hermit culture,having produced far-reaching effect at home and abroad even up to this day.
