Introduction of management of Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service and its electronic crossmatch

香港红十字会输血服务中心(Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service,HTBTS),隶属于医院管理局,为全港39家公、私立医院供血,在业务流程管理、临床血液供应与发放、血液成分制备流程与质量控制、采血部门的管理、献血者的招募策略、采血模式、团体献血的运行及维护等多方面的管理上理念先进、作风严谨务实,全港医院血库均施行电子配血业务,具有丰富的经验。本人作为医院人才培养计划安排,2013年9月赴HTBTS及伊利沙伯医院进修学习并交流,现将情况介绍如下。

HTBTS （Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service）, which is affiliated to the Hospital Authority, provides blood to thirty nine public and private hospitals in Hong Kong. HTBTS has advanced management concept.s, rigor- ous and pragmatic style in many aspects, including process management, chnical blood supply and distribution, blood component preparation and quality control, blood collection management, donor recruitment strategies, blood collection modes, and operation and maintenance of blood members. The hospital blood banks in Hong Kong have implemented electronic crossmatch and have accumulated relevant experiences. As a hospital personnel training coordinator, I studied and exchanged at HTBTS and Queen Elizabeth hospitals in September 2013. The information will be described below.
