Progress in Safety Assessment of Genetically Modified Crops

摘要 转基因技术是现代生物技术的核心之一,在缓解资源约束、保障粮食安全、保护生态安全、拓展农业功能等方面呈现出重要作用和巨大潜力。同时,也为公众带来关于转基因生物安全的忧虑。为此,包括我国在内的世界上很多国家和国际组织都制定了与转基因生物安全管理相关的法律法规和规章制度,以加强对转基因生物的研发、生产、加工、经营和进出口活动的管理。通过介绍我国转基因植物安全评价的主要内容、综述转基因作物安全评价的研究现状,并对我国转基因作物安全评价的发展进行思考和探索,以期为我国转基因生物安全管理提供参考。 As the core of modem biotechnology, transgenic technology shows great potential in resolving food and resource scarcity, and environmental contamination. China and many countries in the world have formulated laws and regulations on the safety of genetically modified organisms (GMOs), in order to strengthen the administration of research, testing, processing, marketing, importing and exporting of GMOs. The main contents of safety assessment for trarlsgenic plants in China, the general research progress of safety assessment around the world were reviewed, and the suggestions on safety assessment oftransgenic crops in China were also proposed.
