This paper dialectically analyzes the performance of mainstream media towards social public issues by referring to the issue of social trust, and discusses how to utilize YUN＇s thoughts about news to guide the activities of communication. The journalists should refocus on the professionalism and the truth of news; the activities of communication should be carried out accurately and timely. The paper also explores how the mainstream media can establish social trust to clear up social trust crisis, strengthen the government authority and construct a faithful and friendly social environment.
