《太平惠民和剂局方》香药考

Textual research on the aromatic drug in Taiping Huimin Heji Ju Fang

《太平惠民和剂局方》(以下简称《局方》)好用香药且是宋代香药滥用之风的源头,长期以来几乎成为学界共识。通过对《局方》使用香药的情况进行统计分析,并与不同时代方书应用香药情况进行比较发现,《局方》与前代方书相比,确有应用香药的种类增加、香药在方中所占比例增加的现象,但这并非《局方》独有的特点,而是存在于整个宋代医疗界的一种普遍现象,究其原因,很可能与宋代经济贸易特点、气候特点、饮食文化特点有一定关联。由此可见,《局方》多用香燥药的特点,可认为是对于当时社会风气的一种映射,而并非宋代好用香药流弊的唯一源头。

It has reached a consensus in the academic field that aromatic drug were excessively used in Taiping Huimin Heji Ju Fang. The study on the comparison of the aromatic drug usage between Taiping Huimin Heji Ju Fang in Song Dynasty and recipes in other different times showed that the aromatic drugs were used with more categories and higher proportion in Taiping Huimin Heji Ju Fang. But, the phenomenon was generally found in the medical field in Song Dynasty rather than Taiping Huimin Heji Ju Fang, which was partly attributed to the economy and trade, climate and diet in the time. Therefore, it is unreasonable to criticize that the aromatic drug were excessively used in this book without fully considering the social circumstances at that time.
