The working principles of ultrashort wave therapy apparatus are the use of electronic tube oscillation due to the ultrashort wave with high frequency electric field for the treatment of patients. The application of single chip microcomputer as the ultrashort wave therapy instrument control system has better performance of treatment. The functions and system structure of ultrashort wave therapy apparatus are introduced, the performance characteristics, classification, application of the single chip and the ultrashort wave therapy apparatus software flow are discussed, and a systematic analysis of ultrashort wave therapy instrument based on AVR microcontroller is made. The future de- velopment trend of ultrashort wave therapy instruments is outlined.
