Tripterygium wilfordill glycosides are a kind of fat-soluble compounds refined from tripterygium wilfordill root extract. It has the functions of anti-inflammatory, promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis, heat-clearing and detoxifieation. As a kind of immune inhibitor it is widely used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus, but the adverse reactions involving digestion,blood and reproductive system in some eases suggest that reasonable medication is particularly important.
