The pre-stressed concrete I-beam has the advantages of long span, light weight, economy,reasonable and simple construction, and is more and more widely used in the highway construction. Based on its structural characteristics of I-beam, only the key control point of quality is mastered better, the engineering quality and safety can be guaranteed in the engineering construction. According to theconstruction practice of Shimengou Bridge in the transit section of Lanzhou in the National Highway 312, the article summarizes the construction technology and key control point of pre-stressed concrete I-beam. The relative experience can be referred for the similar projects.
