摘要
在挤压镁合金薄壁方管过程中,会出现管壁凹陷。采用Deform有限元软件对其挤压过程进行稳态模拟,分析管壁凹陷产生的原因。结果表明,方管出口位置流速的分布不均匀,通过增加方管中心加强筋位置出口尺寸,增加此处流速,使得金属流速更为均匀,从而有效解决了挤压过程中金属流速不均匀的问题,改进后的模具模拟结果符合实际挤压要求。
Steady-state simulation via Deform FEM was conducted on the extrusion process of the thin-walled square-tube of Mg alloy to investigate why dents appeared on the wall. The results indicate that the dents are caused by uneven distribution of metal flow at the tube exit. As a solution,the exit part of the reinforcing rib can be enlarged for the tube, as a way to make metal flow increased and more even. The improved die is more suitable for extrusion practice.
