西北,定西,黄土地。在祖国的版图上凝视,这里弥久徘徊的是贫困。贫困,是百年定西的历史性特征。宣战,向贫困宣战!1982年,在这片贫瘠的土地上,国家启动＂三西＂扶贫开发计划,首开中国历史上有计划、有组织、大规模＂区域性开发扶贫＂的先河。定西人民由此拉开了扶贫开发的历史性序幕。
Eliminating poverty in rural areas is the most difficult challenge in building a moderately prosperous society, and China plans to lift all of the 70 million people living below the poverty line out of poverty by 2020. Dingxi, a prefecture-level city in the southeast of Gansu Province, is the main battlefield of China's poverty alleviation program. From September 26 to 28, China Poverty Alleviation Forum, jointly hosted by China Economic Weekly and Dingxi Government, has been held. Over 300 honored guests participated in the forum and provided advice under the theme of 'targeted poverty alleviation and a moderately prosperous society in all respects'.
