闵惠芬先生是当代民族音乐发展的一面旗帜、一座丰碑、一种精神。她一生追求为人民创作、为人民抒怀。她以开放性艺术思维,努力构建人民听得懂的二胡音乐语言,努力追求人民喜闻乐见的音乐题材与音乐内容,以此奉献给海内外的观众。人民性灌注于她的艺术生涯,呈现于她的音乐创作、音乐表演、音乐评论等诸环节,以此为主线,使闵惠芬的二胡演奏艺术披上一层成熟而趋体系化的光泽。

Min Huifen is a banner, a monument, a kind of spirit in contemporary national music development. She was pursuing to create and express for the people in her life.With open artistic thinking, she tried to construct erhu music language that people can enjoy and to find music subjects and contents loved by the people, with which she devoted to the audience at home and abroad. The affinity to the people was presented in such aspects as her art career, music creation, music performance and music criticism. Thus, her erhu performing art is covered with a layer of mature and systematic luster.
