The Information Office of the Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region （in Northwest China） on August 30 held a news conference, during which the Women＇s Federation of the Ningxia ftui Autonomous Region, the Higher People＇s Court of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and tile Women Lawyers＇ Working Committee, under Ningxia Bar Association, announced the top eight cases （during the past five years） in which legal institutions and women＇s federations, at all levels in the region, offered legal assistance to women and children to protect their legal rights and interests.
