Some things never change. Change is one of them. That being said, the effects of never ending change on us individually and as countries and societies, is an elusive concept, much less reality, to define. A wise woman from Guizhou once told me that there is no past or future, only the present. How do you figure that I queried？ She told me that she believed the past and the future were eternally merging together to form the present, thus neither one really existed in reality. They both gave up themselves every second to become the （ever） present. 1 had never thought of this before and it got me wondering.
