高校音乐教师是高校音乐教育的主要实施者,其素质的高低直接决定了高校音乐教育效果的好坏。多元文化背景下的音乐教育对高校音乐教师素质提出了新的要求。然而新形势下高校音乐教师素质还存在诸多问题,需要政府、学校和教师自身从不同方面努力来提高高校音乐教师的素质,以此为契机加强和改进高校的音乐教育工作。

As the main implementers of college and university music education, college and university music teachers play a decisive role in music education effect. Music education under multi-cultural background raises more requests for music teachers＇ quality in which there are still many problems existing. The government, schools and teachers should work hard together to improve teachers＇ quality and music education.
