在外交活动中,翻译是外交的桥梁,而幽默语言是一种重要的交际手段和策略,所以对外交往中英汉幽默语言的翻译也就成为尤为重要的一项工作。本文以外交活动形式中的公共外交为主,对幽默语言的翻译案例及对应翻译策略进行探究,希望这种探究对该领域以及英语爱好者有一定的帮助。

In diplomacy, translation as a bridge, where as the humorous language is an important communication strategy, so the translation of humorous language in diplomacy has become a particularly important task. This paper will study on the successful translation cases and its strategy mainly based on the public diplomacy and might contribute to this translation field.
