摘要 Conventional coal-fired power plants only convert approximately 30 percent(normalized to the lower heating value)of the energy contained in coal to electricity.Although the coal energy is evidently not utilized efficiently,coal is an important source of energy for world as recognized by the International Energy Agency.And the key point is that we must find better ways to use coal more efficiently and to reduce its environmental footprint.And with Conventional coal-fired power plants only convert approximately 30 percent (normalized to the lower heating value) of the energy contained in coal to electricity. And ey pomt with the projected to increase 15 percent through 2040, burning coal more efficiently in a cleaner way for coal-fired power plants has become a significant step toward achieving carbon emission reductions while meeting the progressively increasing energy demand in this increasingly industrialized world population
