摘要
目的通过检测牙周炎患者治疗前、后血清及唾液中褪黑素( MT )的水平变化,探讨其与牙周炎的相关性.方法:选取 205年3-11月到广西医科大学附属口腔医院牙周黏膜科就诊的中重度牙周炎患者27例(研究组)另选取同期来院体检合 格的牙周健康者18例(对照组).应用酶联免疫分析法检测牙周炎组治疗前、后血液及唾液M T 水平,并与对照组比较,分析其与牙周临床指标的相关性.结果:治疗前牙周炎组血清MT 的水平低于对照组(P 〈0.05),治疗后牙周炎组血清MT 水平 较治疗前升高(P〈0.05).牙周炎组唾液MT 的水平与健康对照组比较差异无统计学意义( P 〉0.05).牙周炎组血清MT 水平与牙周探诊深度( PD )、探诊出血( BOP )阳性率均呈负相关关系(均 r =-0. 47, P〈0.05),牙周炎组唾液MT 水平与 BOP阳性率呈负相关关系(r = -0. 40, P 〈 0 05).结论:血清 MT 水平的降低可能是牙周炎患病的危险因素,血清及唾液 MT 水平可能成为监测牙周炎严重程度的新指标.
Objective: To investigate the clinical significance of changes on serum and saliva melatonin (MT) levels in patients with periodontitis. Methods: 27 cases of the moderate and severe periodontitis patients in our hospital from March to May 2015 were enrolled as the study group, and 18 periodontal healthy subjects were selected as controls during the same period. The serum and saliva MT levels were detected by en-zyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). And the relationship between MT levels and periodontitis was analyzed. Results: The serum MT level in the study group was lower than that in the cotreatment ( P〈0. 05). After treatment, the serum MT level in the study group was significantly increa( P 〈0. 05). There was no significant difference between two groups in saliva MT level ( P 〉0. 05). In the study group, the serum MT level was negatively related to the probing depth (PD) and the positive rate of bleeding on probing (BOP) (both r = - 0. 47 , P 〈 0 . 05). And the saliva MT level was also negatively associated with the positive rate of BOP ( r = - 0. 40, P 〈 0 . 05). Conclusion: The decreased serum MT level may be a risk factor of periodontitis. The serum and saliva MT levels can be a potential marker for the progression of periodontal disease.
