淮南王刘长应为刘邦亲子考辨——与王云度先生商榷

The Textual Research of Parent-child Relationship of the King of Huainan Liu Chang and Liu Bang——A Discussion with MrWang Yundu

王云度先生在《刘安生平事迹辨析》《刘安评传》等论著中提出,淮南王刘长并非汉高祖刘邦的血亲后裔,而是其养子。根据《史记》《汉书》的相关记载,结合西汉前期政治变动情况,从怀孕时间、刘邦的态度及行为、刘邦诸子的性格差异、刘长的心理行为、西汉前期皇权传承中刘长的继承资格,以及汉文帝与刘长的关系等复杂因素进行深入探讨,可知淮南王刘长应该确为汉高祖刘邦之子,并非如王先生所言。对淮南王刘长谋反案件中的血亲因素,也须重新审视和探讨。

In his works of The Textual Research of Liu An＇s Life Story and Biography of Liu An ,Mr Wang Yundu mentioned that Liu Chang was not the biological child of Emperor Gaozu in HanDynasty, but his adopted son. However, according to Shiji and Hanshu , combining with thepolitical changes in the early stage of the western Han Dy nas ty, from pregnancy time, Liu Bang＇sattitude and his behaviors, Liu Chang ＇s psychological behaviors, personality differences amongthe children of Liu Bang, Liu Chang＇s qualification of imperial succession in early western HanDynasty, the relationship between Emperor Wen of Han and Liu Chang, we can safely draw theconclusion that the King of huainan state Liu Chang must be the biological child of the emperorGaozu, not like what Mr Wang said. Therefore, consanguineous factors in Liu Chang＇s rebellionneed to be reexamined.
