In this paper, the approximate point spectrum of infinite dimensional Hamiltonian operators is studied. For infinite dimensional Hamiltonian operators, a relationship between the approximate point spectrum and the spectrum is given, and then a necessary and sufficient condition is obtained for the approximate point spectrum of infinite dimensional Hamiltonian operators to be symmetric with respect to the imaginary axis.
