Determination of Fire Separation Distance between Gas Facilities and Off-Site Building and Structures

提出对"关于进一步加强危险化学品建设项目安全设计管理的通知(安监总管三[2013]76号)"第(十五)款存在的疑问,指出作为危险化学品建设项目的燃气厂站,不符合GB50160的适用范围,如果按照GB 50160的规定控制防火间距,将比适用规范规定的防火间距大,在实际工程中难以实现,不具备可行性。

The item 15 of Notification on Further Strengthening the Safety Design Management of Hazardous Chemicals Construction Projects （State Ad- ministration of Work Safety, Division 3, [2013 ] No. 76） is questioned, it is pointed out that GB 50160 does not apply to gas station which is built as a hazard- ous chemical construction project. The fire separation distance required according to GB 50160 is greater than that stipulated in corresponding code, which is very difficult to be satisfied in actual projects and with little feasibility.
