摘要
汉画像石的产生原因、制作过程和艺术特色与题材表现在20世纪中国美术史研究中已经清楚表明有其独特的社会原因,毋须"削足"强纳入现代西方美术史"纪念碑性"的"靴履"中。同样,也不必要把中国美术史研究的背景资料改换为"图像学"的"图像志",真要做"图像学"研究就应先做数据实验,不能以概念交换代替学术研究。
Previous researches have clearly clarified the emergent causes, producing processes and expressive features of Han Dynasty Stone Portraits. It is unnecessary to be introduced into the commemorative constraint of the modern west art. Moreover, it is also not necessary to change the background of the research on Chinese art history into Iconology. Currently, we should focus on collecting the relevant data of Iconology, rather than replacing the concept in- stead of academic research.
