在平鲁方言中,"哩"是一个重要的助词,普通话的"的"、"得"、"地"的用法,在平鲁方言中都用"哩"来表示。"哩"是该方言中使用最多的一个语气词。一般用于句末,表示陈述、疑问、感叹、祈使等多种语气,也可用在句中,表示语气的停顿、舒缓。平鲁方言语气词"哩"来源于唐五代时期语气词"裏",它继承了"裏"的用法,并有所发展。

In Pinglu dialect, ＂li（哩）＂ is an important auxiliary. Mandarin uses ＂de（的） ＂, ＂de（得） ＂, ＂di（地）＂, in Pinglu dialect with ＂li（哩）＂ to represent the three auxiliaries. ＂Li （哩）＂ is the most used modal particle in the dialect. For the end of the sentence, it expresses the statement, exclamation, and other questions, imperative mood. At the same time, it can he used in the sentence, the tone of the pause, soothing. In Pinglu dialect the modal particle ＂li（哩）＂ originates ＂li（裏）＂ in the Tang and the Five Dynasties, it inherits the usage of ＂li（裏） ＂, and has a further development, the interrogative and non interrogative tone are also the balanced development.
