摘要
本文从隐喻的定义、表征形式、现实意义以及隐喻的新发展出发对国内近30年对概念隐喻的研究作以分析,并进行了思考和总结:隐喻意识的培养在ESL教学中具有重要的作用;教材文本是英语教学的重要内容和语料;分析其中的概念隐喻现象并将其应用到教学是培养学习者隐喻意识的重要教学手段。
This paper reviews the domestic studies on conceptual metaphor in the last 30 years, in terms of its definition, linguistic representation, significance and new findings. And it makes some corresponding discussions and conclusions: the euhivation of conceptual metaphor on English learners plays an important role in the teaching matters in ESL. Besides, considering the text in text book is the main teaching materials, its analysis in the review of conceptual metaphor is dispensable and can contributes to English teaching.
