民国时期,岭南大学与中山大学曾联合组织了一支"海南岛黎苗考察团"前往海南岛的民族地区进行考察,但此事鲜为人知。论题从考察团的筹备、考察团的海南之行以及考察团的收获三个方面详细介绍了海南岛黎苗考察团的情况。

During the Republic Period of China, Lingnan University and Sun Yat-sen University jointly organized ＂an investigation group to Li and Miao nationalities of Hainan Island＂ to carry out a research into the ethnic areas in Hainan Island, which, however, is seldom known to all. From the perspective of the preparations, tour and harvests of the investigation group, the paper elaborates the situations of this group to Li and Miao nationalities of Hainan Island.
