由于人口老龄化趋势加剧,为缓解社会压力和提供老年保障服务,美国政府和社会机构都加强了对老龄化发展规律和老年人剩余价值利用的研究,而公共图书馆在为老年人提供数字包容服务和提升其数字技能方面发挥着重要作用。对美国老年人数字素养现状和公共图书馆老年人数字包容服务现状分析可以得到以下启示:公共图书馆应以生活事件为主题整合资源;将数字包容服务纳入图书馆预算;从生理和心理需求出发提供服务;与社区机构和社会组织合作;充分发挥老年人的剩余价值。

On account of the aggravate population aging problem, American government and social institutions strengthen the re- search on the development law of population aging and the recycle of seniors＇ residual value to relieve social pressure. Public libraries play an important role in solving population aging problem, for instance, providing digital inclusion service for the elderly, and improving skills of digital technology, etc. By researching the situation of digital literacy of the elderly now in America and the digital inclusion service public libraries provide, following conclusion could be reached： the public library should integrate resources based on life events, increase library budget for digital inclusion service, provide service for the elderly on account of their physiological and psychological requirements, cooperate with community agencies and social organizations, and give full play to seniors＇ residual value.
