The Research on the Development of Ethnic Regions in Northwest China Based on “One Belt One Road” Strategy:Taking Urumqi City of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region as an Example

当前我国处于经济新常态下,面临着经济增长速度放缓、产业结构亟需优化升级的压力,"一带一路"战略是新疆维吾尔自治区乌鲁木齐市实现跨越式发展的重大机遇,如何利用好这一历史机遇,发挥其地缘优势,利用其资源禀赋优势,实现产业结构优化升级和发展特色民族产业,弥补经济发展中的不足,成为摆在乌鲁木齐市面前的一道重大课题。

While ＂new normal＂ is the current state of economy,our country is under the pressure of growth slowing down and industrial structure optimization. While ＂One Belt One Road＂ strategy is a significant opportunity to leapfrog development of Urumqi,capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,how to make good use of it in conjunction with the regional and resource advantage of the city,to upgrade and optimize the structure of industrial and promote the ethnic part of it,and to strengthen the weakness of economy,has become a major issue of the authorities of Urumqi.
