摘要
作为一种符号系统，语言总是与一定的文化系统有着紧密的联系。缺乏关于文化系统的认识和了解，将会对语言的深入理解和恰当运用形成障碍。《圣经》是人类文明史上的重要经典之一，对西方社会产生了深远的影响。《圣经》钦定本作为最具影响力的译本，是英语习语、典故、词汇、格言的宝库，它对英语语言产生了极大的影响。本文作者试图从语言文化的角度人手，探讨和归纳《圣经》钦定本对英语语言的影响。
As a system of signs, language is often closely linked to a particular cultural system. The inadequate knowledge of this cultural system will hinder one＇s deep understanding and appropriate use of this language. Holy Bible is one of the most valuable works in the cultural history of mankind, having an everlasting effect on western society. As the most influential translation of the Bible, the Authorized Version is one of the treasure houses of English idioms, sayings, allusions and words. It has exerted far-reaching influence on English language. This author of this paper tries to summarize and discuss the influence of the ＂Authorized Version＂ upon English from the perspective of language.
