罗烽作为东北作家群的重要作家,他的小说立足于新文学现实主义的精神根基,以知识分子的强烈历史使命感,从社会现实出发,自觉地表现了抗战时期的中国社会场景,塑造了知识分子和农民两类人物形象,在艺术上重视心理深度的刻画,再现了上世纪三四十年代中国战时的社会图景。

Luo Feng is an important figure in the Northeastern writer group,whose works set their foundation on the spirit of new literary realism,with intellectuals＇ strong sense of historical mission.Besides,starting from the social reality,his works self-consciously present Chinese social scene during the anti-Japanese war,and shape two types of figure of intellectuals and peasants.Artistically,his works pay attention to the psychological description of its character,which reproduce China＇s social picture during 1930 sand 1940swartime.
