摘要
基于IT基础设施能力理论,认为云计算应用可以使企业产生新的调度和部署IT资源的能力——"云基础设施能力",并将其划分为灵活能力和整合能力两个维度,通过促进企业的运营敏捷性来提高企业绩效。利用使用国内知名云服务阿里云的184份企业调研数据,采用偏最小二乘(PLS)结构方程模型进行实证分析。结果表明,云基础设施能力通过促进运营敏捷性来提高企业绩效,且市场动态性越大,云基础设施能力对运营敏捷的影响关系越强。
The application of cloud computing can bring not just cost and technical advantages, but also the huge business value. However, in view of existing research mainly from cost saving and technology, we are still not clear whether and how cloud computing improve firm performance. This study investigates the mechanism of how cloud computing impacts firm performance based on 184 survey data from a famous cloud computing provider firm Aliyun in China. More specifically, we propose that two cloud computing related capabilities （i. e. , flexibility and integration capability） are most critical for firms to improve performance from the use of cloud computing; cloud computing enhances firms＇ performance by facilitating their operational agility; and the effect of cloud capability on operational agility becomes stronger when market turbulence becomes higher.
