Local University Exerts Its Social Service Function and Serves Local Economic and Social Development

地方高校要根据自身的办学特点和职能定位,开辟人才培养、科学研究、社会服务上的新路径,在兼顾三大职能的同时,积极拓展社会服务职能。地方高校要树立主动服务社会的理念,完善社会服务评价机制和激励机制,优化人才培养模式,创新社会服务的形式,积极寻求地方政府的支持。地方高校利用自身优势,主动服务社会,不仅有利于实现高等教育的多元化发展,提高地方高校的社会认可度,而且有利于提高地方社会的经济效益和社会效益。

Local University should explore more new paths to talents cultivation,scientific research and social service based on its school- running characteristics and function position. Besides attaching great importance to these three functions,local university should also further expand its social service function actively. In order to serve the local economic and social development more efficiently,local university must take the initiative to serve the society,improve the evaluation mechanism and the incentive mechanism,optimize its talent cultivating mode,innovate the forms of social services and seek the support from the local government,etc. Serving the society avtively can not only realize the diversification of higher education,enhance the social recognition towards local university,but also improve the local economic benefits and social benefits.
