The dominant Christian thoughts provide a theoretical basis for racial discrimination and sexual oppression in white western society. In her writings,Alice Walker questioned and deconstructed the Christian thoughts,which has completely subverted the notion that God created man and God is white. Walker＇s creative ideas accord with the transcendentalism of Emerson,deeming that everything is God,the blacks are equal to the whites,and everything coexists harmoniously in the world.
