摘要
针对英语词汇的短期记忆、长期记忆和恰当使用等三方面提出了母语翻译对英语词汇教学的作用。指出在现代英语词汇教学中合理使用学生的母语翻译,双语教学材料,有利于提高课堂教学效果。
The article points out the positive influence of Chinese translation on English vocabulary teaching from three aspects, which are short-term memory, long-term memory and appropriate using. It shows that using of native language translation and bilingual teaching materials can improve the classroom teaching effect.
