Role of Rural Cadres and Party Members in Cultivation of Socialist Core Values

党员干部是我国国家政策的制定者、执行者和示范者,在培育和践行社会主义核心价值观中发挥着"关键少数"的作用。农村由于人口总量大、制约因素多而成为社会主义核心价值观培育的重点和薄弱点。农村党员干部作为宣传教育者、行为示范者、利益维护者、氛围营造者、基层运行机制探索者,在农村社会主义核心价值观培育中发挥着不可替代的作用。为此,农村党员干部要转化话语体系、做好榜样示范、维护农民利益、繁荣农村文化、完善乡规民约,实现社会主义核心价值观在农村的转化、内化、强化、外化和固化。

The Party members and cadres, as the maker, executor and demonstrator of national policies, play the role of critical minority in the cultivating and practicing of Socialist Core Values. Due to a series of issues including the large population, rural areas are both the key point and weak spot in the cultivation of such values. The Party members and cadres in such areas play such role of educator, demonstrator, interest protector, atmosphere constructor and explorer of management mechanisms at basic level, is critical to the cultivation of such values in rural areas. Therefore, it is for them to take the relevant countermeasures.
