In recent years,under the leadership of the Office of the Spiritual Civilization Development Steering Commission of the CPC Central Committee and China Volunteer Service Federation,Qingdao has taking the cultivation and practice of socialist core values as the mainline,vigorously promotedthe institutionalization and normalization ofthe volunteer service of learning from Lei Feng.Also,Qingdao has tried to create the brand of 'Great Love of Qingdao' and promotedsustainable and sound development of volunteer services.At present,there are over 945,000 registered volunteers,over 6,100 various volunteer service teams,over 3,090 volunteer service programscarrying out regular activities,and more than 3,700 volunteer service bases.And there are many outstanding volunteers and volunteer service organizations,such as Li Yanzhao,one of the first group of national five-star volunteers and the most beautiful volunteer in China,Jia Xiaohui,national outstanding young volunteer,Red Cross Blue Sky Rescue Center as one of the first group of national volunteer service demonstration teams, 'Supporting Education Island',the best volunteer service program in China,Taipingjiao Community,Badaguan Sub-district,Shinan District,the most beautiful volunteer service community in China,TransportalionGroup 'Love Station',thenational demonstration base of learning from Lei Feng activity,etc.
