Rapid development of China＇s vocational education pushes electrical technology to international standards,which puts forward higher requirements for professional English teaching in electrical automation.Combined with the teaching practice, the paper analyzes the current orientation of professional English and discusses the selection of textbooks, improvement of the students＇ learning interests, forms of teaching organization and evaluation methods in order to enhance the utility and the occupation of professional English and meet the needs of the students.
