摘要
本文以田纳西·威廉斯的《热铁皮屋上的猫》中斯基普为例,探索和发掘斯基普在遭遇"边缘情景"时的焦虑、绝望,以及他在痛苦之后对"真我"的勇敢而绝望的追寻,开始了对威廉斯剧作中积极、正面的男性角色的发掘。
Focusing on Skipper in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, the paper discusses Skipper＇ s despair and anxiety when encountering ＂ Boundary Situations＂ and existential predicament, his desperate and determined quest for authenticity starts the exploration of positive characters in Tennessee Williams＇ plays.
