语料库“数据驱动”的汽车专业英语教学模式改革探索

On Corpus-Based Data-Driven Teaching Reform of Specialized English for Vehicle Engineering

汽车工业的发展推动汽车专业英语的教学模式改革.现行汽车专业英语的教学模式单一,课堂气氛不活跃,学生参与教学积极性低,互动不充分,重知识轻能力.为了应对这些弊端,培养具备较强汽车专业英语能力的大学生,试图探索语料库"数据驱动"的汽车专业英语教学模式.通过更新教师教学理念、丰富课堂教学内容、改革传统教学方法、综合利用教学手段等几个方面改变传统的教学模式,将语料库融入专业英语的课堂教学,全面训练阅读、翻译、口语等方面的能力,一定程度上提高了大学生专业英语的培养水平.

The teaching reform of specialized English for vehicle engineering has been pushed forward by the development of automotive industry.The teaching mode being used now has some disadvantages as the followings：the teaching mode is single;the class atmosphere is not lively;the enthusiasm of students joining in education is low;the interaction between teacher and students is not sufficient;and knowledge is paid more attention than ability.In order to deal with these drawbacks,and to cultivate high ability of professional English of college students,the study of corpus-based data-driven teaching reform of specialized English for vehicle engineering has been carried out.The corpus is integrated into the class of professional English in such ways as updating the teaching idea of teachers,enriching the teaching content of class,reforming the traditional teaching method,and exploiting the various teaching tool.By this means the traditional teaching mode is reformed,so to offer a thorough training in reading,translation,and speaking for students.By the new teaching mode the skills level of professional English of college students is improved to some extent.
