Analysis on Transformation of Generator Rotor Grounding Protection Device of 600 MW Unit

发电机转子接地故障是发电机常见的故障形式之一,若发生转子两点接地时会严重威胁发电机的安全。通过分析某发电厂原保护装置在运行时的缺陷,论证了改造的可行性,介绍新保护装置的性能和改造的实施过程,改造后的机组运行情况达到预期效果。

Generator rotor grounding fault is one of the common faults of the generator. If the two points grounding of rotor occurs, generator safety will be seriously threatened. Based on the analysis of the operation defects of the former protection device in a power plant, feasibility of the transformation is demonstrated. The performance of the new protection device and the implementation of the transformation are discussed. After the transformation, the unit operation is as satisfactory as expected.
