Self-consciousness, Self-confidence and Innovation in Developing Artistic Disciplines——An Interview with Mr.Zhong Chengxiang

对于艺术学门类学科的建设,仲呈祥先生认为要在指导思想、学科体系、学术体系、话语体系等方面,充分体现中国特色、中国风格、中国气派,要强化民族学理和中国道路。不能用"大跃进"式的办法发展艺术学学科建设,而是在发展建设过程中强化民族学理,既珍重、珍视民族学术资源,又善于学习借鉴西方的适合我们国情的有用的学术资源,并把这两种资源交融、整合、与共、创新。艺术创新,要坚持社会主义核心价值观导向,坚持把适应需求与提高素养结合起来,坚持与时俱进的中国化的马克思主义的指导地位。

Mr. Zhong Chengxiang advocates highlighting Chinese characteristics, styles and manners in guidelines, disciplines, academics and discourses in developing artistic disciplines, putting premium on adhering to national theoretical framework. It is feasible to advance artistic disciplines development in a down-to-earth and innovative manner by availing of academic resources both at home and abroad. It is important to adhere to socialist core values in artistic innovation in an unswervingly upholding Marxism with Chinese characteristics manner, meeting the needs of society and cultivating talents at the same time.
