In thia paper,the engineering situation of one idle passive filter equipment is analyzed and the problem existed is pointed out. The modification scheme is analyzed, calculated, compared, and simulation verification is made based on the power system condition and test parameters of power quality,to keep the equipment after modification meet present condition and customer＇s requirement,the idle equipment has been reused and the power investment and resources have been saved.
