Kendao23 was a new high yielding and high quality rice varieties, it was bred by Ken03-659 as female parent and Kenxi103 as male parent, and approved by Heilongjiang reclamation area in 2013. This paper introduced breeding process, characteristics, yield and cultivation essentials of Kendao23.
